
Biography
Ricardo Ramirez is an Associate Health Scientist ll with Cardno ChemRisk in San Francisco, California. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Human Science at Georgetown University’s School of Nursing and Health Studies in May of 2020. His primary areas of study included various disciplines of biology and chemistry, all within the context of human health. Mr. Ramirez also studied epidemiology as well as occupational and environmental health. As a student, he was involved in several tobacco research studies focusing on cigarettes, water pipes, and ENDS. Mr. Ramirez also led a NIOSH-funded project to investigate a reemerging fungal disease in California. Since joining Cardno ChemRisk in the summer of 2020, Mr. Ramirez has reviewed the new literature on tobacco products, and provided litigation support. He is also assisting in the expansion of the epidemiology service area.
