Biography

Ms. Rachel Zisook is a Supervising Health Scientist in the San Francisco, CA office. She is a board certified industrial hygienist with ten years of varied professional experience in exposure assessment, industrial hygiene, human health risk assessment, and environmental data analysis. At Cardno ChemRisk, Ms. Zisook is the Service Area Lead for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) services. Her practice focuses on assessing risk to workers, consumers, and communities resulting from exposure to a variety of chemical, physical, and biological hazards. Recent work has focused on helping organizations respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, including advising on strategies and guidance to minimize the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission and evaluating the health risks associated with the use of disinfectants. Ms. Zisook earned an MS in Geography and Environmental Engineering from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, and holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis.
