Biography

Dr. Lynne Pavlic Marshall is a Senior Health Scientist with Cardno ChemRisk in the Pittsburgh, PA office. Much of her work since joining the firm in 2019 has involved reviewing literature, co-authoring white papers, and analyzing data for clients in the regulatory space. Prior to joining Cardno ChemRisk, Dr. Marshall worked as an Environmental Epidemiologist in the Air Quality Program at the Allegheny County Health Department. She conducted epidemiologic investigations, research studies, and public health exposure assessments by collecting and analyzing data, including results of laboratory tests, hospitalization and emergency room visits, and air quality data. She collaborated with various stakeholders on multi-disciplinary community workgroups to improve the health of the residents of Allegheny County. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, completed her Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management at Duquesne University, and her Doctorate degree in Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Marshall’s background also includes project management, air quality monitoring, community exposure and risk communication, and statistical modeling, intervention design and evaluation in a healthcare organization. She has experience in working with large healthcare datasets and excels in study design and analysis.
