Lindsey Garnick is a Health Scientist with Cardno ChemRisk in the San Francisco, California office. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Environmental Toxicology with an emphasis in Ecotoxicology at the University of California, Davis in 2014. In her current position at Cardno ChemRisk, Ms. Garnick consults in services in areas of human health risk assessment, product sustainability, and regulatory support. She reviews scientific literature on the health hazards and historical exposures associated with asbestos and other occupational hazards, including lead (Pb), isocyanates, and cargo residues. She also performs risk assessments and exposure reconstructions for a variety of compounds. She reviews and evaluates state, federal, and industry regulations for client compliance with environmental, occupational health, and product safety laws (e.g. CA Prop 65). Ms. Garnick has published articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals focusing on asbestos, consumer product exposures, Prop 65 regulations, and risk assessment.
