Ms. Emma Sutherland is an Associate Health Scientist with Cardno ChemRisk. Her primary training and experience includes epidemiology, statistical analysis, risk science, behavioral health, and environmental data analysis. She earned a BS in Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience with a double major in Spanish from the University of Michigan in 2017 and her Master in Public Health in Epidemiology with a certificate in Risk Science and Human Health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2020. Ms. Sutherland previously assisted and conducted research in food insecurity, adolescent behavior and health outcomes related to addictive phone use, and food addiction while at the University of Michigan as well as in in racial disparities in cancer outcomes and clinical trials while previously employed at Wayne State University/Karmanos Cancer Institute. At Cardno ChemRisk, she is involved in projects involving data analysis, scientific literature review, and evaluation of epidemiology projects for a variety of clients.
