Biography

Ms. Stewart is a Senior Associate Health l Scientist with Cardno ChemRisk. She earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health Sciences from Yale University and completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology with a certificate in Global Health from University of Iowa. Her research and academic training focused on green chemistry, risk assessment, exposure assessment, epidemiology, toxicology, and statistical analysis. During Ms. Stewart’s graduate school internship, she worked for a company in the personal care product industry where she was involved in product stewardship initiatives focusing on the environmental impact and improved safety profiles of raw materials used in product formulation. Throughout her graduate career she assisted with research at the Center for Green Chemistry and Engineering at Yale, including her most recent work examining the persistence of pharmaceutical contaminants and their associated downstream environmental and health effects. In her current position, Ms. Stewart is routinely involved in providing litigation support related to various particulate exposures such as asbestos and talc.
