Science Guides Public Health Protection for Drinking Water

The Environmental Protection Agency has published a new lifetime Health Advisory for  Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS) found in drinking water. The EPA concluded that 0.07 ppb is an adequate Health Advisory level "not expected to result in adverse health effects over a lifetime exposure."
